I noticed you picked ome my photographs; thank you. I like to view the phtography of those who like mine. This one is one of my favorites of yours. It is a difficult shot because I try it frequently as well. You maintained the detail without blowing it out and maintained a sense of brightness even though it is not; well done.

Thank you, John, for the detailed comment. I am glad that you appreciate the shot. Many people don't realize how much effort actually goes into a seemingly simple shot like this. The conditions and camera settings need to be spot on...and you have to hold your mouth just right. ;^)

So soothing of an image Al! Sand dunes are amongst my favorite sceneries! This could have been a scene on our beaches in Michigan!
