Cool! Great CH-53 artwork Al! ~Jeff

Thank you, Jeff. I appreciate it.

So, must be a CH-53D Sea Stallion.

Upon closer inspection, the markings on this helicopter read..."MARINES HMT-302" and the tail code reads "UT". It must be a CH-53E Sikorsky Super Stallion.

Yes, all 39 remaining PAVE LOW helicopters were retired in September 2008.

I thought so. I captured the original version of this image on 3/26/2010.

This one has a refuelling boom and elongated fuel tanks, indicating its an MH-53, the CH-53D's have a thrid engine and larger/rounded side fuel tanks. ~Jeff

I was under the impression that all of the Pave Lows had been retired...I dunno.

Is this an MH-53 PAVE LOW helicopter Al? Voted anyway! v/w, ~Jeff at JSJ Photography

It is probably a Sikorsky Stallion. I would need to take a closer look. Thank you very much for the Vote and Watch, Jeff.

These remind me of the old copper sheet engravings. Absolutely unique and yet connected to past tradition. V

Thank you very much for the nice compliment and Vote, John.
